Naples Golden Eagles crushes Port Charlotte Pirates 63-33 in Florida high school football game

Naples - Naples High School running back Shawn Simeon racked up 391 rushing yards and scored 7 touchdowns to guide the Naples Golden Eagles to a 63-33 win over the Port Charlotte Pirates on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Golden Eagles also received vital efforts from running back Martavion Young who rushed 6 times for 25 yards and quarterback Jack Melton who rushed 6 times for 7 yards.

Port Charlotte's quarterback Eli Manley threw for 181 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Edd Guerrier picked up 206 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and wide receiver Jamal Streeter had 71 receiving yards.

The win helps Naples improve to 9-2 on the season while Port Charlotte falls to 9-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
